PTA hosting Melanie Hempe of Families Managing Media

Please join us on 1/30/18 at 5:45pm in the Media Center for a brief PTA meeting followed by Melanie Hempe's presentation: Kids' Brains & Screens Seminar – Smart Parenting in the Digital Age.
A 90 minute seminar designed to equip families to make healthy choices for children’s screen use. It covers the brain science behind screen use during all developmental stages, from toddlers to teens. You’ll look into your child’s world of video games, smartphone and social media use, and discuss the latest medical research, and signs and symptoms of overuse. We will conclude with easy tips and solutions for your home, and a 30 minute Q and A session. Don’t miss this informative event!
