OP Star Student!

Congrats to Sam Lutwick,
our OP Star Student of the Week!

Mrs. Gustafson nominated him based on the following criteria: "Sam always goes above and beyond academically and in helping other students in class. Sam is extremely respectful, a group leader, and turns all assignments in on time. He dives deep into Paideia discussions, TD assignments, and sets the example for other students in our class. I am so proud of all he has accomplished this school year!"

Way to go Sam!

OP Star Students!

Congrats to Merley Barrios AND Mary Wynn Parker,
OP Star Students!

Merley Barrios is a 4th grader in Mrs. Quattropani's class and was nominated by her classmate, Mary Wynn Parker. Mary Wynn shared that Merley is kind, patient, attentive, hardworking and also a very talented artist!  We loved that Mary Wynn took the time to recognize and do something kind for someone else so we nominated her too! Congrats to both of these students who demonstrate great character and serve as positive role models for their peers!

OP Star Student!

Congrats to Ethan Spiegler,
our very first "OP Star Student!"

Ethan is a 4th grader at OP who has excelled in remote learning this year and was highly recommended for this nomination by several of his teachers. Each week, we will be selecting a new "Star Student" and that student will have the sign in their yard and be interviewed for the WOPE news broadcast each week. We hope this is a fun way to recognize some of the awesome students we have at OP!
